The Rotary Club of Ankeny provided four $1,000 scholarships, two at each of the two Ankeny high schools seniors through "Dollars for Scholars". Here are thank yous from a couple of the students.
"Dear Rotary Club of Ankeny Members, I want to thank you for the Rotary Club of Ankeny Scholarship. Your commitment to support and belief in my higher education journey is appreciated. I am planning to major in secondary education while following my dream to play football at the higher level for the University of Sioux Falls. I plan to become a High School Teacher and Coach. I would love to coach football, track, and baseball. Without Community support like yours, higher education would be out of the reach for many . I am excited to start my college journey at USF.
