On Saturday, December 5th, about 16 Rotarians and family members rang the bell at the North Ankeny Hy-Vee to collect donations for the Salvation Army. The following message has been recieved from Amy DeCastro the Assistant to the Area Coordinator for the Salvation Army:
"First, thank you to you and your Rotary Club for ringing for us! You all had an amazing day and raised $1088.93! That has been our highest kettle so far this year. Th ank you so much for everyone who volunteered their time!
Our club had committed to match all donations up to $1,000. The check has been sent, making the total raised $2,088.93. Thank you to all that did such a great job ringing the bell!
