What:  The Rotary Club of Ankeny has launched a new satellite club to provide more meeting opportunities for current members and new area residents.

When and Where:  They meet weekly on Tuesdays, 6:00 pm.  The location various depending on if they are participating in a service project or having a speaker.

As one Rotarian said, “If you truly want to give back to your community—and to the world at large—you join Rotary.  It has an arm that reaches across all barriers.  To be part of that is very powerful.”

What can you do in Rotary?

·         Have fun and build lifelong friendships.

·         Volunteer your professional skills to serve others.

·         Address local needs and work with your community to bring lasting improvements.

·         Meet humanitarian needs around the globe.

·         Promote world understanding and peace.

·         Work with young people to help them become the next generation of leaders, visionaries and peacemakers
