During the meeting on Tuesday, June 4th, President Steve ScraderBachar recognized Zane Smith for having been a member of the Rotary Club of Ankeny for 50 years! Smith was inducted into the Club on June 3rd, 1973. The Ankeny Club was chartered on January 1973, making Smith the longest member of the Club. ScraderBachar read a letter that had been received from Rotary International President, Paul McNally, recognizing Smith for this accomplishment.
