The Des Moines Rotary Multi-Club Committee is sponsoring a Forum on water quality and sustainability at the Hilton Garden Inn, West Des Moines (Just east of Jordan Creek Mall) on Friday, June 9th.  The speakers include Matt Helmers the Dean's Professor in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Professor in the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering at Iowa State University, Roger Sylstra a farmer from Jasper County, Richard Leopold, Director of Polk County Conservation, and David Courard-Harari, Associate Professor of Environmental Science and Policy at Drake University.  Registration and a continental breakfast will begin at 7:00 AM followed by a program at 7:30-9:00.  The cost of $20 per person will be paid by the club.  All net proceeds from this event will benefit an International Service Water Project in Tanzania, Kilimanjaro Region as part of a Rotary global program.  Please contact Rich Job at rich.w.job@icloud.com if you plan to attend.
