Ankeny Rotarians:
I am writing my last e-mail as Rotary club of Ankeny 2020-2021 president. I have enjoyed some aspects of this past year and dealt with many challenges this year. We have an amazing club and I am very proud of what we stand for , what we do and how we do it. Steve shared last week how we have set our club apart from most clubs in the district, we give generously of our time, talents and treasures.
Thanks for the opportunity to serve our club this past year. Thanks for the support of our board, elected officials and committee chairs, you have all been wonderful to work with. Thanks to the leaders of the evening club for what you do and offer members, you continue to grow because of the meaningful engagement you offer. Thanks Juan for being such a great leader.
I also want to recognize Nate for all the things he does behind the curtain to make our club run. Nate truly puts service above self. I want to also thank Sally for nominating me for president.
As I conduct my last official task today running the meeting at noon on June 29th, I will know that the club will continue to be strong under the leadership of Todd and Jacquelyn.
