This fall, the Rotary Club of Ankeny purchased 132 winter coats and donated them to Project Fresh Start's Warm Coat project. The following thank you has been received:
"Dear Ankeny Rotary,
Thank you so much for your generous donation to the 2021 Faith and Education Winter Donations give away. This year we were able to supply 411 Ankeny residents with coats, hats, gloves and snow pants. In addition, we gave away 50 coats to local charitable groups. These groups work with Polk County residents to help them stay warm during the winter months. Again, on behalf of Project Fresh Start, as well as the hundreds of people we serve, THANK YOU!
