Below are thank yous received from two of the winners of the Rotary Dollars for Scholars winners:
"Thank you so much for the scholarship.  I am very grateful for your support and very proud that you view me worthy for a scholarship.  In high school I participated in soccer, tennis, plays, musicals, and tennis.  Some clubs were FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), French Club, National Honor Society, and French National Honor Society.  Outside of school, I am also involved in Girl Scouts.  Over the years I took a lot of AP classes: AP Lit, AP Language, and AP microeconomics.  I also volunteer a lot in my free time.  I spend my summer working in the barn at Hidden Acres Summer Camp.  I also worked at Drake University at the concessions for men's and women's basketball volleyball and track.  This fall I will attend Iowa State University and double major in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.  My dream job is to own my own pie bakery with my sister.  Thanks again for your generosity.  Katylyn Carlson"
"Thank you so much for the scholarship.  I am grateful that I was chosen and recognized to get the scholarship I did.  I know this money will help advance me in my learning at Iowa State University.  During high school I have been involved in so many activities, clubs and AP classes.  Some of the activities I participated in were school plays (Get Smart), school musicals (Sister act, Mamma Mia, The Ant and the Grasshopper), show choir, tennis, and soccer (for only 2 out of 4 years).  Some of the clubs I was involved in were Future Business Leaders (FBLF), National Honor Society, French National Honor Society, and French Club.  The AP classes I took throughout high school are AP Lit, AP Lang, AP Microeconomics, and more college classes that aren't AP.  I plan to go to Iowa State University to major in Marketing and Entrepreneurship.   I would really like to work for myself after college using my majors, but future is unknown.  I just plan to enjoy every part of college that I can.  Thanks again.   Sincerely Jaclyn Carlson"
