On October 22, 2024, our Rotary Club met for our weekly meeting at On With Life where we learned about the Extreme Build and saw the impact of our donation at work. We also saw the trees that got planted with our monetary support by the students at Ankeny Christian Academy. "I am very proud of our student council members for being willing to give their time to serve the Ankeny Community. These eight students did a great job and really highlighted what ACA is," says Hans Hoeksema, Ankeny Christian Academy Advancement Director and Rotarian. The students who planted the trees were (in alphabetical order): Maddie Burriss, Ava Clarkson, Adeline Davenport, Sophia Glenn, Meleinna Patterson, Lillie Simpson, Anna Weathers and Lucas Weathers.
