The annual PolioPlus night at the Iowa Wolves will be Saturday, February 4th at 7:00 PM at Wells Fargo Arena. The Wolves will be playing the Austin Spurs and promos that night include Country Night with a post-game concert and $2 Beer night with a koozie giveaway. The tickets are discounted to $20 each with $10 from each refunded to the Club to be donated to PolioPlus. Tickets may be purchased online at https://fevo.me/polioplus23 or use the signup sheet to indicate how many tickets you would like, and the Club will place a group order and charge the tickets on your April quarterly invoice. Use the signup sheet if you would like to purchase tickets to be donated. If ordering your tickets on-line, be sure, when checking out, to indicate you are with the Rotary Club of Ankeny.
Alex Barker, Iowa Wolves Account Manager, plans to attend our noon meeting and Ed Arnold, NW Des Moines Rotary Club, the Evening meeting on January 3rd to provide more details and answer any questions.
Each dollar donated will be matched 2 for 1 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation resulting in each ticket purchased providing 50 children with the polio vaccination.
