In tune with its mission to enable Rotarians to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace, the Rotary Foundation, emphasizes "..improvement of health, the support of education, and the alleviation of poverty" as the utmost importance.  To this end, Rotary clubs worldwide continue to fundraise to make these objectives a reality.  The Burnside Breakfast Rotary of South Australia, organized a golf tournament that raised $15,000 used to support non-governmental programs like the Can-Do Canines, Summer Camp Scholarships, the Burnside High School Brainpower in a Back-Pack/Snack, the Feed My Starving Children, and a Humanitarian Global Grant in Tanzania.  The Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club has awarded a $15,000 grant to the Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Michigan, to establish scholarships.  These scholarships will be known as the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Promise Scholarship, and is designed to help financially strapped students enrolled in an eligible KCC health or skilled trade programs.  To further the intention of THe Rotary Foundation, you can donate by visiting www.rotary.org/donate
