The sixth annual Rotary Club of Ankeny family picnic will be held on Tuesday, August 6th, 2019 at the shelter in Sunrise Park, 506 SE Peterson in Ankeny. A social hour will begin at 5:30 PM and we will plan to eat about 6:30. The meat, hamburgers and hot dogs, and paper plates, napkins, and plastic silverware will be provided by the club as well as iced tea and lemonade. Everyone should bring any other beverage they may want and a salad, side dish, or dessert to share. There will be games for kids provided.
Both the noon and evening Rotary meetings are canceled for that day, August 6th, and all members are encouraged to attend the picnic and bring all family members, guests, and prospective new members.
