Our 2019 fundraiser "Raise the Stakes" will be April 13th which is now less than 40 days away.  Here are some things to keep in mind:
Beer & Wine - Two of our live auction items will be a "Wall of Wine" and "A Tower of Beer".  We are asking each Rotarian to bring a bottle of wine, or case of beer to add to this auction item.  WineStyles of Ankeny will also be donating tastings and club memberships to these auction items.  Please bring your wine and beer to a Rotary meeting in the next couple weeks.
Ticket Sales - For this event to be a success, we need to fill all the seats with bidders.  Our goal is to set a new high with over 300 ticket sales.  To purchase tickets, go on line to https://bidpartner.net/rotary/.Ticket sales are $60 each or you can purchase a table of 8 for $440. Remember each Rotarian is responsible for two tickets.  We hope everyone is planning to attend and will bring some guests.  If not, you will be invoiced for two tickets.
Auction items - Thank you to everyone that has already turned in auction items.  We have received several unique items but we still need more.  Please bring your items to a meeting as soon as possible.  We would like to have all items turned in by March 19th to allow time for the committee to select the live items and put together the order of the auction.  Then the brochure still need to be completed and printed.
Volunteers - Several volunteers will be needed the night of the event.  Be ready to sign up to help with set up, registration, hosting, selling 50/50 tickets, clerking, or clean up in the next couple weeks.
