The three "Paddle Raisers" during the club's fundraiser, "Raise the Stakes" netted a total of $19,635 which was more then double the amount donated in any of the previous eight years the club has been having fundraisers. Representatives of each of these organizations were present during the noon meeting on April 30th to accept checks for these donations. Matt Adams, Chief Operations Officer for Ankeny Schools, accepted a check in the amount of $2.750 for FUEL, John Peterson with the Ankeny Service Center received a check for $4,975, and Mary Mendenhall-Core the Area Director for Pinky Swear was presented with a check in the amount of $11,910.
