Here is a message from Troy Thompson, District 6000 Disaster Relief  Humanitarian Services (Action Team Chair):

We have an unfortunate abundance of disasters that we can respond to as Rotarians.  You are no doubt aware of the recent multi-state tornado and the damage that resulted.  As if that weren’t enough, we have had a lot of damage in the state of Iowa on December 15th due to thunderstorms, tornados and strong winds. Regarding the Iowa storm, we would like to know if you are aware of people or places affected by the storm that need help.  While we have the realization that we can’t help everyone, we must be aware of need in order to assist.  We would like to deploy as many Rotary resources as possible to assist financially, or with boots on the ground.

If you or your club would like to donate financially, please make the checks to District 6000 H.E.F. and indicate if  you would like the funds to stay in Iowa or go to the region dealing with the multi-state tornados and forward it to:

The need is great and the challenges are many.  We are Rotary!
