Mary Cochran was a member of the Rotary Club of Ankeny since 2005. Unfortunately, she passed away in October, 2025. At the 2026 District 6000 Annual Conference, she was recognized during the memorium ceremony with other Rotarians in District 6000 that had passed away during the past year. Her husband, Danny Cochran, was able to place a yellow rose in a vase in her name. She was then recognized as a recipient of the Paul E. Hellwege Guardian of Integrity award for 2026 along with 24 other district 6000 Rotarians. Danny accepted this award for her.
We are glad we were able to recognize Mary at the District Conference for all she meant to our club and to Rotary. We will truly miss her.
