Iowa Energy Wrap Up

The Polio Plus Night at the Iowa Energy was completed on January 28th.  A total of 1,233 tickets to the game were sold by the Des Moines area clubs.  Six clubs participated in the BBQ cook-off which collected $1,134.78 from 218 people that signed waivers (there may have been more tasters than signers).  An additional $416.14 was collected in direct donations.  In total $11,285.75 will be divided among the participating clubs to donate to Polio Plus.

 

The Rotary Club of Ankeny sold 27 tickets and will be receiving $225.11 to donate to Polio Plus.  Donated tickets were given to On With Life to send 8 residents and their chaperones to the game.
