Gary Welch has coordinated both the RYLA and Rotary Youth Exchange programs for the Rotary Club of Ankeny for the past several years. As Gary recognized the two exchange students from Kopan, Mexico, Sofia Marales and Jesus Esteban, for having gone through graduation from Ankeny High school, President Ben Digmann recognized Gary as his choice for Ankeny Rotarian of the month for May.
