Five Days Until "Rotary Olympics"

"Rotary Olympics", the 2018 fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Ankeny will be this Saturday, February 24th, at the FFA Enrichment Center on the Ankeny DMACC campus. Check in begins at 6:00 PM. Dress is business casual or wear your favorite winter Olympics attire.

There is still plenty of space available for more guests. If you have not registered yourself or your guests, please do so as soon as possible so we can get a head count for our caterer. Any last minute sales will be appreciated since ticket numbers are down significantly from prior years.

All auction items have been entered on our web site and the silent auction is now open for bidding! You won’t want to miss this chance to view the items being offered and to place early bids. To start bidding now, please visit: bidpartner.net/rotary. If you have not already registered a credit card, go to “Credit Card Registration”. You will be asked to put in your email address and then follow the instructions to enter your credit card information. Now you are ready to go to “Auction Bidding”. You should have previously received an email with your Bidder Number or you can login using your email address. You can also bid from your smart phone or tablet by typing in bidp.co and then choosing "Rotary (02/24/18)" and log in to bid.

When bidding, you will have a choice of three bidding options: “By Picture”, “By Item”, or “By Category”. Note when bidding on an item you can also put in “Set a Maxbid”. All items you bid on will go into your “My Items” folder so you can keep track of your items throughout the auction.

If you are attending the event, be sure to bring your fully charged smartphone or tablet to assist you in making your bids. Also, please note silent auction bids may not be submitted on Items #101 through #120 since these items will be sold during the live auction.

Finally, if you are unable to attend "Rotary Olympics" but would like to bid on some auction items, go to bidpartner.net/rotary and go to "Register As New Bidder". You will be assigned a bidder number and asked to provide your credit card information.
