On July 10th, new District Governor Tom Norak and his wife Carol made their official visit to the Rotary Club of Ankeny. Prior to the noon meeting, they met with the Board and had a good discussion regarding the status of the Rotary Club of Ankeny and ways District 6000 can provide better support to our club. While visiting with the entire membership, he issued a challenge for every member to invite at least one guest to a meeting sometime during the 2018-2019 Rotary year. He also advised us he would like to put emphasis on literacy, child abuse, and polio prevention during his term as district governor. Tom & Carol will be visiting the evening club on October 30th.
