Each year the Epilepsy Foundation - Iowa conducts a "Walk to End Epilepsy". In 2020 there will be three walks. The first will be in Jordan Creek Mall in West Des Moines on April 25, 2020. There will also be a walk in Cedar Falls on May 2nd and in Iowa City on June 6th. The Rotary Club of Ankeny will be donating $500 to help sponsor this walk. Nate and Annette Burnham matched this donation with $500 of their own to make the Rotary Club of Ankeny a "Friend Sponsor" for all three walks. Roxanne Cogil, Executive Director for the Foundation was a guest at the noon Rotary meeting on February 18th to pick up the checks.
