

GOVERNOR'S PROCLAMATION SIGNING & OUTSTANDING ANTI-TRAFFICKING AWARDS
Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 am at the Iowa State Capitol Rotunda, Lt. Governor Chris Cournoyer reaffirms Iowa's dedication to fighting human trafficking by signing a proclamation declaring January to be Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month. Witness as Lt. Governor Cournoyer and the NAHT present five Outstanding Anti-Trafficking Service Awards. Congratulations!! CIVITAS (10 Rotary clubs in central Iowa) has been selected to receive an Outstanding Anti-Trafficking Service Award from Lt. Governor Cournoyer and the Iowa Network Against Human and Slavery (NAHT). Tamara Kentworthy was called forward to accept a plaque on behalf of CIVITAS which was presented by the Lt. Governor. Rick Job and Nancy Zwickel represented our Noon Club.
