At their July meeting, the Board approved two donation requests. They were:
Salvation Army - $1,000 - These funds will be used to assist with remodeling a bus that was given to the Salvation Army by DART. The bus will be used to serve people with needs outside the Des Moines Metro area who are unable to travel to Des Moines to access help. This will enable more people to be served.
New Horizon Adult Day Care - $1,000 - The Club has been a significant supporter of New Horizons for several years. These funds are for a sponsorship of their annual golf outing fundraiser. Proceeds from this fundraiser will help provide programming for the people they serve in Ankeny and the surrounding area.
