Board Approves Donation Request to Boy Scouts

During their meeting on June 8th, the Board for the Rotary Club of Ankeny approved a donation requests for the Mid Iowa Council of Boy Scouts of America.  The request was approved in the amount of $1,250 to support their 2017 Friends of Scouting campaign.  The funds from this campaign will be used to help support new programs, recruiting materials, the purchase of equipment, staffing summer camp, and providing scholarships for camp.  This is the 6th consecutive year the Rotary Club of Ankeny has contributed too the Scouts campaign.
