It was a beautiful day on Saturday, April 3rd, when approximately 20 Ankeny Rotarians, family, and friends met at the Uptown Trailside Tap for brunch. After brunch, the bikers headed north on the High Trestle Trail to the oasis and the walkers headed south to the lake on the DMACC campus. Upon reaching their destinations both groups participated in an Easter egg hunt then returned to the Uptown Trailside Tap. Participants contributed $1,130 to be sent to the Rotary International's Polio Plus Campaign. These funds will be matched 2-1 by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
