Dear Mary Cochran and Ankeny Rotary Club Members,
I can't thank you enough for choosing me for this scholarship. It will definitely be put to good use! I will be attending the University of Iowa with a direct admission into the Nursing Program. I plan to become a pediatric practitioner. I am very excited to be a Hawkeye and make a difference in kids' lives.
As this is a Rotary Scholarship, I figured I would tell you about my amazing time at RYLA. I attended my junior year (2018), and loved every second of it. RYLA taught me more about myself in a week than I had learned in my whole life. I made so many memories and met so many amazing people, most of which I still talk to! I wish there was a post-RYLA camp every summer so I could relive the RYLA magic every year.
