AMP Ribbon Cutting & Dedication

The formal dedication and ribbon cutting for the Ankeny Market Pavilion and Wade Franck Plaza was held on June 15th.  The ceremony started with comments from Mayor Gary Lorenz.  Rotarian Terry Peter then talked about the timeline from the origination of the idea for a trailhead in 2011 to the fundraising and finally the construction.  There remains some landscaping to be completed and assuming a Rotary grant is approved, more benches will be added.
