The Rotary Club of Ankeny held its first meeting at the Best Western Inn on East First Street and SE Delaware in Ankeny on January 19, 1973. The club is planning on a 50-Year Celebration to be held in early 2023. Sally Schroeder has agreed to chair the planning committee and has scheduled the first meeting for Tuesday, January 11th, at the Ankeny Golf & Country Club at 11:00 AM prior to our regularly schedule noon meeting. Several members have already volunteered to serve on the committee but let Sally know if you would also like to help and plan to attend the meeting.
