The Club's next "Raise the Stakes for Community" fundraiser will be held at the FFA Enrichment Center on April 15, 2023.
Now is the time to begin gathering auction items. Remember experience items and creative ideas make the event extra special! Think about your wish list or dream item/event….have you seen something at a recent event? We have some holes to fill from last year's items, so we need to start thinking now! Let Laura or Stacey know if you have contacts for items such as a limo, trips/experience travel, professional sporting or event tickets, concert tickets, vehicle lease, or any other item you think would make a great live auction item.
We have reached out to some new larger sponsors (in addition to Polk County and Prairie Meadows) and we are waiting to hear back and we already have Lasik eye surgery confirmed and 12 live auction desserts, courtesy of Kathy Gocke, Foggy Bottom Farms and Sweet to Eat Bakery.
Doug Beech and Brian Tiernan will be in touch soon with the club competition and rounding up ticket sales and additional sponsorships. Keep your eyes out for the new promo materials - our new signature color is green and tell your friends to save the date. New this year will be the Brazilian Twins (high energy fiddler entertainers), additional magic, caricature artists, roaming photographer, and a new photo booth experience! Let’s make this the best one yet!!
Our next fundraiser planning meeting will be November 8 at 11:00 am at Ankeny Golf & Country Club. Please join us if you are willing to volunteer to help with the Event. We need everyone's help.
