Thank Yous for Donations

Two thank you letters have been for donations provided by the Rotary Club of Ankeny.  The first came from Kathy Weatherwax Ankeny Dollars for Scholars President.    It read, "Thank you for your generous contribution of $1,000  to the Ankeny Dollars for Scholars program.   At a time when both the importance ans cost of post-secondary education are increasing, your contribution assists seniors graduating from the Ankeny Community School District to further their education.   In the spring of 2015, we presented $64,203 in donated scholarships to 119 graduates.  We are hoping to continue that positive trend this year.  Thank you for your support." 

 

The second letter came from Sue Rasmussen Chair of Community Services for the Ankeny Service Center.   It read,  "Thank you for your thoughtful contribution to the Ankeny Holiday Assistance Program.  Whether you sponsored a family or made a donation, without your help we would not have been able to serve Ankeny families ans bring a little joy to them during this holiday season.  Your contribution helped us provide assistance to over 255 Ankeny families. including over 690 children.  You truly helped us touch a lot of lives and make a difference during this special time fof the year.   ....From all of us at the Ankeny Service, we wish you and your family a Great New Year."
