Thank You From New Horizons

New Horizons Adult day Center would like to thank you for blessing us at our Third Annual Golf Outing Fundraiser.  We are honored to call you friends, and appreciate your $1,000 donation to our event.  The outing was a great success.  Everyone had fun and we enjoyed beautiful weather for the entire event along with lots of good food!  Because of generous donors like you, we raised over $9,200, which will be put toward the purchase of a bus to be used for transporting our participants to and from New Horizons, as well as for outings into the community.

 

The participants of New Horizons Adult Day Center are just like you and me, with a need for socialization and friendship.  They often feel disconnected from their community due to the challenges they face physically and/or cognitively.  The fellowship that is fostered here gives the participants a renewed sense that they have not been forgotten and their loneliness subsides while in attendance.   The atmosphere at our Center is family-like, compassionate, comfortable and caring, providing activities that are therapeutic as well as fun.
