"Shred Day" in Ankeny, sponsored by Northwest Bank, was held on October 25th.   The bank allowed Rotarians to assist with unloading items to be shred and to also collect donations.  A total of $540.81 was collected.  This was more than twice as much as was collected last year.  At the November Ankeny Rotary board meeting, it was decided these funds would be donated to the Ankeny Service Center to aid with their Holiday Assistance program.

Thank you to Jim Ramsey for leading this project and to Rotarians Troy Boelman, Tim Hawkins, and Doug Beech for their help.  Also, thanks to former Rotarian Wade Steenhook and his wife, owners of Info Dog Security (the shred company) for staying onsite the entire time to assist.
