The Rotary Club of Ankeny's 2014 fundraiser, a Rotary Luau, generated net income of approximately $22,350. Income included ticket sales - $7,355, silent auction - $7,985, desserts - $2780, live auction $8,585, AMP paddle raiser - $1,080, Polio Plus paddle raiser - $1,080, Ankeny Service Center paddle raiser - $1,780 and a donation of $25 for a total of $30,630. We have not as yet received the final invoice from Jethro's yet but expenses should total about $8,300 leaving a net income of about $22,330. After the left over wine is sold, the net income should exceed $22, 600. This is compares to $20,253 in 2011, $16,224 in 2012, and $20,216 last year.
Thank you to Rob Bode for acting as the chairman of this year's fundraiser and to Doug Beech - Logistics Committee, Pat Timmons - Registration/Clerk Committee, Carmen Davis - Auction Committee, Dick Marshall - Brochure preparation and everyone that bought tickets, donated auction items and attended the event.
