Rotary Foundation Minute

In order for Rotary to carry out its worldwide humanitarian efforts successfully, it works with many local and international organizations as well as educational institutions.  For the Global Polio Eradication,  Rotary International is a leading partner along with:
•   World Health Organization
•   UNICEF
•   U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
•   Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and
•   Donor governments

 In addition, RI appoints representatives to work with several United Nations agencies and global organizations.  It has strategic partnerships with the Aga Khan University and UNESCO-IHE Institute for Water Education, which offers service opportunities for Rotarians.  ShelterBox is Rotary’s partner in disaster relief and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, the Global Food Banking Network, the International Reading Association, Peace Corps and the Youth Service America – all support club activities and offer opportunities for collaboration on local Rotary projects.  The RI-USAID International H2O Collaboration is an alliance between Rotary International and the U.S. Agency for International Development to support and facilitate water and sanitation projects.  And of course The Rotary Foundation partners with seven universities throughout the world in offering fellowships leading to degrees or certificates in areas of study related to peace and conflict prevention and resolution.  Your contribution to The Rotary Foundation supports these collaborations.  Thank you.
