Rotary Donates to Courage Sports League
Katie Obering from Courage Sports League attended the June 9th meeting and received a check in the amount of $500 from the Rotary Club of Ankeny. The funds will be used to assist with their year round sports leagues for special needs children.
A thank you has been received from Melissa Clarke-Wharff the Founder/President of Courage League Sports. It stated: We appreciate the generous contribution of the Rotary Club of Ankeny in the amount of $500 on June 9. 2015. Your choice to donate will make a difference in the lives of the children in our community and their wellness as we offer year-round adaptive sports. We thank you. Please know that you are an important part in helping Courage League Sports achieve its vision of "Every Child Deserves to "Play".
