Rotary Board Approves Donations

At their meeting for the Rotary Club of Ankeny on October 8th, the Board approved two donation requests.  The first request was from the Ankeny Community Chorus to assist with the purchase of copyrighted music for their 85 members.  A donation of $500 was approved.   Hopefully, we can get some members of the chorus to attend one of our meetings and sing for their lunch.

 

The second request was to assist the Ankeny Service Center with their "Holiday Assistance" program.  The Board agreed to contribute $250 to be used to purchase gift cards for families in need.
