No Noon Meeting - Club Picnic - August 5th

There will NOT be Rotary noon meeting on Tuesday, August 5th.  Instead, all members should plan to attend the picnic at Ankeny's Sunrise Park, 506 SE Peterson Ave.  The evening will begin with a social hour from 5:30-6:30 and eating will begin around 6:30.  This will be a family event with children welcome.   The community has also been invited to the picnic through a news article in the Press Citizen.

The Club will provide meat to be grilled including hot dogs and hamburgers as well as all table service.  All members should bring a dish to share, appetizer, salad or dessert, and a canned item to be donated to our local food bank.  This will be a great opportunity for the community, as well as prospective new members, to learn more about Rotary and some of the events and service projects that our club spearheads each year.
