Gary Welch Receives Service Awards

During the 2015 Rotary District 6000 Conference, Ankeny Rotarian Gary Welch was presented with two service awards.   The first was a District Service Award from Rotary International "For outstanding service in promoting The Rotary Foundation and it's goal of world understanding and peace".

The other was a District 6000 Governor's Significant Service Award "For outstanding leadership and development of the District 6000 Rotary Youth Leadership program (RYLA).  Gary was instrumental in the creation of the current RYLA program.  Over the course of the last 4 years, Gary has worked to make this the best RYLA experience for everyone involved."
