Fun-Raiser Update

Committees are hard at work for our Fun-Raiser Luau to be held on February 22 at 6:00 pm at the FFA Enrichment Center. Here is an update:

Ticket Sales: We would like to sell out the 300 tickets we had printed. So far 146 tickets have been picked up by members. If you do not have yours yet, plan to pick them up at next week's meeting or contact Nate Burnham, nfburnham@gmail.com.

Auction Items: Items for both the live and silent auctions need to be brought to a Rotary meeting or delivered to Carmen Davis at Northwest Bank's, Delaware location. Many more items are needed. Currently only 9 items have been submitted. We need 20-25 large items for the live auction and 60-70 items for the silent auction. Please obtain an auction item, or two or more, this week. We would like to have most items in by the end of January so the auction committee can start working on the auction brochure.

Catering: Jethro's has been selected to be the caterer. The menu will include appetizers of coconut shrimp and pineapple glazed wings, Sides of potato-mac salad, sesame vinegar coleslaw, and mixed vegetable medley. The entrées will be "Kalua Pork", pork salted then smoked in Ti or banana leaves, Macadamia crusted white fish and pineapple chicken served over abed of fried rice.
