For their service project for February, members of the Evening Rotary Club of Ankeny visited the Cornerstone Recovery site in Ankeny.  They took cupcakes to decorate, cookies, and drinks for the kids.  The kids especially like the giant JINGA game they brought. .

Cornerstone Recovery is a mental health and addiction treatment site for teens in Ankeny.   It offers three levels of services to help teens ages 12-18 end their substance abuse.  As teens show improvement or when they require additional help, they can move up or down the continuum of care without having to move to another program or facility.  Cole Schinkel the residential Supervisor of Cornerstone sent an email thanking the group for their service.  It stated, "I want to say thank you to you all for coming in tonight and I am sorry I wasn't able to say goodbye.  A youth asked to step off the unit and when I came back on I was told you all had left.  Either way thank you very much for thinking of the youth her and volunteering your time you spent with them.  They had a really good time!"
