Donation to Alpha Women's Center

Linda Albertson and Judie Higday representing the Alpha Women's Center of Ankeny were the guests of Del Mohler at the noon Rotary meeting on October 8th.  They were there to acknowledge the donation made to the Center by the Rotary Club of Ankeny in the amount of $1,000.  This donation was used to purchase a new clothes washer and dryer for the Center to be used for cleaning donated clothing on site.  In addition, thank you to Rotarian Chuck Gassman and Bell Brothers Heating & Cooling for donated the labor and materials to hook up the appliances.
