Congratulations Golf Ball Drop Winners!!

The results of the 2014 Summerfest Golf Ball Drop are in.  Congratulations to the following:

1st Place - $1,000 -  Leigh Lewis sold by Terry Peter
2nd Place - $375 - Reba Henze sold by Rich Job 
3rd Place - $250 - John Colyer sold by John Colyer 
4th Place - $125 - Tim Hawkins sold by Tim Hawkins

The preliminary numbers show a total of 580 balls were sold which will result in approximately $5,600 after expenses, to be split with the Ankeny Service Center and the organizations that sold tickets.  Ticket sales by service club were:  Rotary - 482, Lions - 41, Optimists - 17, Kiwanis - 20, AYP - 10, and Jaycees - 10.  Thanks to Tom Friedman for the tremendous amount of time and effort he put into organizing the golf ball drop and to every one that sold tickets and worked the Rotary vender booth.
