City Flower Plot Adopted By Evening Club

For the second year, the evening club adopted a flower plot for the city of Ankeny.  The plot is located on NW Lakeside Drive just north of the Lakeside Center.  The club members decided to plant a few perennials this year in addition to the annuals provided by the city.  This should reduce the planting time next year.  In addition to planing the plot, the club is responsible for weeding, watering, and clearing the plot this fall.
