We are now less than three weeks from the date for our Fun-Raiser and we are still in need of many more auction items.  As of the end of last week, we only had 22 auction items in hand. We have about 11 more items that have been promised but this is still far less than the 151 items received last year.   Also, the total value of the items received or promised is about $6,541.  This compares to a total value of $26,400 last year.  These items have been submitted by or been promised from 20 of our members.  That leaves 45 members that we have not received anything from yet.

 

The brochure must be completed and sent to the printer by Friday, Feb. 14th and, of course, the auction committee must package, select the items to be live verses silent and choose the order of the auction prior to the brochure being completed.  There is a lot of work to be done and we are running out of time.

 

Thank you if you have submitted an auction item, but we would appreciate your getting another item.  If you have not submitted an item, please get one or two or more and get them to Carman Davis this week.  For this fundraiser to be a success each member must do their part and help obtain auction items and sell tickets. 

 

We have had 200 tickets handed out.  This compares with about 280 last year.  Hopefully, many of you will be picking up your tickets at this week's meeting and few will be turned back in next week.
