Ankeny Rotarians Attend District 6000 Conference

Nine Ankeny Rotarians attended the "All Club Luncheon" on Friday during the District 6000 Conference on May 2nd.   Anne Campbell, the mayor of Ames, was to present a "Welcome.to Ames" at the luncheon but was unable to attend due to having suffered a heart attach two weeks ago.  To the surprise of those in attendance the other "Mayor", ISU men's head basketball coach, Fred Hoiberg filled in and welcomed the group to Ames.  This was well received even by those from the eastern side of the state.
