Ankeny Ranks High in PolioPlus Giving

The amount contributed to the PolioPlus campaign by District 6000 clubs from July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 was $81,672. The quarterly District news letter for July-September listed the amounts contributed by all 64 clubs. The Rotary Club of Ankeny contribution was $4,490. This was second only to the Rotary Club of Burlington's $4,960. Since the campaign PolioPlus campaign started in 2001, Ankeny has contributed $24, 091 and all clubs from District 6000 have contributed a total of $1,342,853. Way to go Ankeny!!

The total amount contributed to the Rotary Foundation by all Rotarians in District 6000 was $441,556 which equaled $112.73 per member. The total contributed for PolioPlus and the Foundation was $523,238 or $131.76 per member. The Rotary Club of Ankeny contributed $10,110 to the Rotary Foundation. This makes the total contributed to PolioPlus and the Foundation by Ankeny Rotarians $14,600 or an average of $221.21 per member. Only 6 clubs in the District contributed more per member.
