AMP Update

Construction is underway for the Ankeny Market Pavilion. The sidewalks and paving is being installed and bids are now out and beginning to come back for the first shelter. The plan is to complete construction of the first shelter yet this fall. The Rotary Club of Ankeny has contributed about $75,000 when you total all of our individual and corporate donations. It would be desirable to get this total up to $100,000 so the club could reach the next level of recognition. If you have not as yet donated or would like to increase your donation, contact Doug Beech or one of the other committee members. We are also looking for ideas for a piece of the project where we can display a Rotary logo such as some signage, a clock or some other structure. If you have ideas, let Doug or one of the committee members know.
