AMP Groundbreaking Well Attended

The groundbreaking for the Ankeny Market & Pavilion was held Saturday morning, May 17th at the location of the south pavilion with about 200 people in attendance.  Rotarians Terry Peter, AMP Committee Chariman, and Doug Beech, Fundrainsing Chairman, addresed the crowd along with Mayor Gary Lorenz.  Then the major donors turned the first spadefules of dirt.
