2015 Iowa Energy Fundraiser

The date for the 7th annual Rotary Polio Plus / Iowa Energy Fundraiser is tentatively set for February 7th and the committee is now being organized.  Since April. 2009 money raised through the Iowa Energy D-League Basketball ticket sales, contributions and a 50/50 raffle at the games has been enough to immunize over 100,000 children worldwide.  Again this year the Iowa Energy will provide their best $20 tickets to us for $16.  For each ticket sold by a Rotarian, the Iowa Energy will rebate $8 back to the club.

The Rotary Club of Ankeny is in need of a volunteer to represent the club in the planning committee.  The committee plans to meet on the third Tuesday or Thursday of each month at the Tavern II, West Des Moines at 11:45 - 12:45.  If you attend this meeting, you will receive a make-up for the Ankeny Rotary meeting.  Let Julie Cooper or Nate Burnham know if you are willing to serve on this committee.
