2014 Ankeny Clean Up Days
The Rotary Club of Ankeny will again be helping with "Ankeny Clean Up Days" which will be Saturday, May 17th from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday May 18th from noon to 4:00 pm at the Prairie Ridge Aquatic Center, 1220 NW Prairie Ridge Drive. Rotarians are needed to assist Ankeny residents with the unloading of their vehicles and to collect donations. Last year, these donations totaled $2,343.14 which was more than double what was donated in 2012. These funds were then donated by our club to the Polio Plus campaign.
Each shift will be 2 hours. Please sign up at this week's meeting or send an email to Justin Carlton, justin@e-carleton.com, to tell him when you are available to work. Ankeny Clean Up Days has become one of our signature events which has given the club significant visibility and a fund raising opportunity. Please sign up as soon as possible so we can make sure we have all shifts covered.
